Beautiful paintings by Alison Watt, a Scottish woman born in 1966. Love the monochromatic look and they are massive (you can see her at work below, shows the scale). Hope you like them. -D

Went to Moma and the Frick Collection. These are a few of our favorites from both.

A piece by Paul Sietsema- very cool, ink on paper with the “newspaper” drawn- and one of Monet’s water lily paintings. Both at Moma.

Thomas More by Hans Holbein the Younger and Johannes Vermeer’s, Mistress and Maid. Both at the Frick.
